Motorsport Applications
Prepare Beyond the Track
Driven DynamiX builds high-fidelity motion simulators for professional drivers, race teams, and development programs. True six-degree-of-freedom motion, ultra-low latency, and full-body force cueing help drivers prepare for real-world performance.
Circuit and Race Preparation
Learn racing lines, braking points, elevation changes, and corner sequences before arriving at the track. Drivers can also rehearse qualifying laps, starts, pit procedures, traffic, restarts, and complete race stints.
Car Control
The DDX platform reproduces weight transfer, chassis rotation, changing grip, understeer, and oversteer. Drivers can repeat challenging scenarios and develop more precise reactions in a controlled environment.
Coaching and Evaluation
Coaches can review braking, steering, throttle application, consistency, and decision-making across repeatable sessions. Teams and academies can use the same conditions to assess driver adaptability and development.
Driven DynamiX simulators support professional coaching environments including iZone Driver Performance in the SIlverstone Circuit, where simulation forms part of structured driver preparation and development.
Vehicle and Setup Familiarization
Compatible simulation software allows drivers to experience how different vehicles and setup changes affect balance, braking stability, traction, and corner behavior before driving the real car.
Multi-Discipline Training
Optional rally and manual controls expand the platform for rally, oval, off-road, and mixed-discipline preparation. A Driven DynamiX simulator is also used at DirtFish, supporting rally-focused training in an environment built around real-world car control.
Motion That Delivers Information
Driven DynamiX develops the mechanics, actuators, electronics, firmware, and control software as one integrated system. Physical cues remain closely aligned with the simulated vehicle.
DDX PreActiv
DDX PreActiv predicts vehicle behavior and generates motion cues with ultra-low latency. The DDX Prime delivers approximately 3 milliseconds of telemetry-to-motion latency, while the DDX Precision delivers approximately 4 milliseconds.
Six-Degree-of-Freedom Motion
DDX simulators move across surge, sway, heave, yaw, pitch, and roll. The platform communicates vehicle attitude, suspension loading, road texture, curb strikes, ABS activity, and changes in traction.
Full-Body Force Cueing
The DDX Belt Tensioner applies loading during braking and cornering. DDX AeroSurge adds physical feedback linked to acceleration and speed.
Tested in the Real World
Driven DynamiX combines simulator engineering with real-world testing and human-motion research. Development programs at Circuit of the Americas, Oulton Park, and the Nürburgring have collected data on braking, rotation, vibration, surface changes, and physical loading.
